I have extremely oily skin and of course scalp. lately I have had to wash my hair daily, it wasn't only oiliness, but it also had a smell and itchiness from washing it every day. Until I tried this little purple puck! It lathers soo nicely and takes away the oiliness. Now i wash my hair every other day, it does get a bit oily on the day i have to wash it, but not nearly as bad as before. I can't even notice the smell and the itchiness has stopped.
I do warn that it dries the hair out a bit, so just use it on your scalp and just let it work it's way down as you rinse it. Definitely need to use a conditioner for your ends. I use a little bit of argan oil for my ends.

I have healthy, fine hair, but it gets oily at the roots, making it usually impossible for me to go a day without washing it. With this shampoo bar, my fine hair has more volume, shine and I can skip a shampoo every now and then. I use it with American Cream conditioner, and the combination has made my hair the best it has ever been!

So I was hesitant to try this product at first due to the Price. I have oily hair & skin, to the point where I wash my hair every day and if I don't my hair looks greasy at the end of the day and my face looks oily/shiny by mid afternoon. After using this product and Fresh Farmacy on my face I'm in LOVE!!!! It makes my hair feel so clean and does not look greasy at the end of the day at all!!! I Love this product!!!!

I bought this when I was in Philadelphia last month when I came across a store. I've never been inside one, but I have watched many reviews of their products on YouTube.

So I go inside and asked what the best shampoo was for taking out the build up of other hair products in my hair. The woman who helped me recommended this. I tried the shampoo for the first time this morning and boy, it really surprised me.

I lathered it in my hand like I would for a bar of soap, but later found out that even that was too much. From that, I can already tell this will last me a long time.

Definitely recommend this. Now I don't need to buy myself a clarifying shampoo from a beauty store!

This shampoo was wonderful! It smells great, which makes me want to use it every day although I don't really need to! My hair is still clean and not greasy the second day after using it. I only had to make two "swipes" across my hair to get it foamy (which isn't much considering my hair is almost 2 feet long!It is the first "bar" type shampoo that I have ever used and I already love it!

I have had problems with my thin hair and oily scalp for years and have tried all kinds of products to eliminate the oil without taking too much moisture from my ends. This is it!
There is always a trade off with a product that removes oils from the scalp, and it's that it also removes oils from the end of the hair, which can make them a bit dry. A good conditioner will remedy that.
This is the perfect solution to oily problematic hair as it not only works great, it smells wonderful too. I bought my first bar 2 1/2 months ago and I'm still using it. I'll probably go get a new one in a few weeks or so. Thanks LUSH for another wonderful product!

Hair & scalp feel super clean, but not tight or dry. Hair was soft, shiny & had volume. Needed a bit of spray conditioner to detangle, overall a fab little cleanser! :) happy with my purchase!

I have always had to wash my hair daily, because if I don't you can TELL my hair is unwashed. My face and scalp are oily, so my bangs get stringy and oily in no time at all. Jumping Juniper has cut that down, I can usually get away with every other day now. My hair has less buildup at the roots, and has more volume since it's not weighed down anymore.

I've had a few shampoo bars get "gummy" in the shower, but this one never has. Perfect!

I love this product. I was a little confused about a shampoo bar, but it is wonderful. It lathers a lot more than your regular shampoo would. It doesn't take much to get a good lather either. I've had my bar for about 2 months and there is still a lot left of it. I bought another one already. I'm in love.

I use this product almost everyday day of the week in my morning shower. It is amazing. I have very long hair, so liquid shampoos always ran out very fast, but the solid shampoos last forever, definitely worth the money.
When I used to use other shampoos my hair would look oily and dirty by the end of the day, and now even the next morning it still looks great.
I use this along with Soak and Float once a week. They are my new haircare warriors. If you have oily hair and dandruff, this combo is HIGHLY recommended.
I am unable to think of one bad thing to say. I am totally in love.

I have yet to blow dry my hair, but this is my first buy from Lush. I used it with the American Cream conditioner, and I didn't have any knots when combing through my hair. The smell was awesome and cleared out any sniffles I had also. When in a rush, I usually just throw my hair in a pony tail and say I will wash it later, this helped because after 2 days, my hair is oily. I love this. I cannot wait to try different products now!

Oh my stars this is the best! I only need to swipe it once through my hair to get amazing suds. Gone are the days of wash, repeat, condition. I can wash once, condition, and go! I have had no problem with the smell not lasting. My kids even comment the day after mid-day how great my hair smells. I especially love how my hair feels cleaner and does not feel weighed down. The price can't be beat either as I have used this daily for a month and am nowhere near the end! I'll never use another shampoo in my life!

My hair tends to be oily to the point that regular shampoo doesn't do the trick. Even after a thorough shampoo, my scalp still seems oily. You can imagine my surprise after my first juniper shampoo bar use when my hair was completely oil free! I'm actually still in shock that it actually worked so quickly and effortlessly. I should mention that I waited two days to shampoo again, and my hair was still oil free, even days later. Really impressed with this product.

ive used this for a few weeks now, shampooing every other day or every two days, and it dries my hair out a lot! i wouldn't say thats a bad thing if you use a conditioner though. I have super thin hair and it adds soo much volume!! It doesn't really smell after you leave the shower though. Wish it would add more shine, I think it just makes my hair dull. Great if you have SUPER oily, thin hair and don't want to wash every day :)

This shampoo works pretty well. I have noticed an improvement in the overall balance of the oils in my hair. Jumping Juniper definitely makes my hair less oily but I was expecting it to do something for the volume as well (I have really flat hair). Then again, maybe I was just assuming that the flatness of my hair was due to the oiliness; maybe my hair is just naturally flat.

I'm new to Lush so I think I'm going to try the Seanik next and see if that improves volume. But I love these solid shampoo bars; the lack of packaging is really environmentally-friendly and they take up so much less space than a huge bottle of shampoo. I was skeptical about the bars' lathering power and longevity but they lather amazingly well and last a long time because it doesn't take much to get a rich lather from the little puck. The amount of lather and the ability to get it through all of my (moderately thick) hair are so much better than what I've experienced with traditional bottled shampoos.

Also, this shampoo bar had the unexpected benefit of helping to sort out my scalp. Hasn't done much for my dandruff, but I did have a dry area along my hairline that this shampoo has helped to remedy. All in all, I'd say that I like Jumping Juniper, even if I'm not absolutely crazy for it.

This product is amazing! I have struggled with oily hair all my life and every product I have ever tried either doesn't work well or dries out my scalp and hair leaving it frizzy and limp. I don't like having to use multiple products daily to balance my hair out. I'm simple girl and love that after washing my hair with this product I can just brush my part into my coif and it air-dries and styles beautifully. I originally purchased it as an occasional treat or emergency treatment, but I love it so much I use it every time I shower. My hair is shiny, it smells yummy, and it's not frizzy or oily!

i've tried a lot of lush products but this is my first time trying a shampoo bar and i love it! at first i tried it without using conditioner and my hair felt SUPER dry but then with conditioner it was amazing and kept my hair oil free. it lathers really well and i don't need to use much on my very thick hair!

My hair is the type of hair that if I don't wash it every day, it has a tantrum and goes greasy as if I haven't showered in a few days. I also have A LOT of hair and I color it. This bar was recommended to me by a LUSH employee and I kinda already love it. The scent is clean and not overpowering. Someone once asked me how these work, and all I did was rub the bar front to back on sections of my scalp and it lathered really nicely. After rinsing I noticed how my hair felt clean but I could tell that there was 100% no left over residue from the bar, which is awesome. The only cons, and they don't pertain to me, is that it WILL dry out your hair, so I really only suggest this product if you've got an oil problem. It's too harsh on your hair if you don't. And since two of the ingredients in this bar are lemon and lime, this really isn't any surprise since the acids in the juices of lemons and limes are great to use if you've got a lot of product build up. Other than that, I would 100% recommend this to anyone with an oily hair problem! It smells awesome and I can still smell it in my hair, my hair never holds shampoo/conditioner scents! I really enjoy this bar and look forward to purchasing more in the future.

I've found my permanent shampoo! I usually like to try every kind of shampoo out there to see if any will be super amazing. My search stops at Lush (I may try some other solid shampoos). :D This is the most amazing shampoo ever. It lasts so long, it takes nothing to get it lathering, it leaves your hair so shiny (it's unbelievable), and there's no packaging. After one use, my ends felt smoother, and my scalp was soothed (it had become irritated after using Trichomania). I normally have pretty dry, frizzy hair. It doesn't do much for frizz, but it didn't dry my hair out or make the frizz worse. Second-day hair is not frizzy though. Just really smooth and soft. I'm going to stick with this one. My hair has never been better. I use it with Jungle conditioner, which I also like. The smell is there, but not very strong, which is good, because I live with an asthmatic. I keep mine out of the shower on a cooling rack with my soap and conditioner to keep it from getting all mushy.
