If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Five stars for outer packaging- super cute and the little bell was a nice added touch. Five stars for the products- Snow Fairy is my favorite LUSH Christmas product, and Angel's Delight smells so fruit punch yummy. 3 stars for the interior packaging- the styrofoam peanuts took away from the presentation, and the unwrapped Christmas Angel ballistic had a broken wing. I would buy this gift again, but would hesitate to give it as a gift. |

I have to admit, upon first smell I didn't like these. I received this as part of the after christmas sale, and although the wrapping is adorable, before these are in the bath they do smell sickly sweet. Soooo thinking I wouldn't like them...I cocktailed christmas angel and snow fairy in my son's bath because he liked them. Well turns out they smell delicious when they're diluted a little in bath water. I was actually jealous of how good he smelled! He smelled like violet water and vanilla with a hint of spearmint...really really yummy and not at all the overbearing sweet that you get upon first sniff of these. I'm going to have to track down more and take a bath in it myself because my bathroom still smells absolutely delicious. |

I bought this after Christmas as part of the sale and they'd run out of Angel's Delight soap so instead I received 2 Snowcake soaps. It was a perfect example of what a great company LUSH is, first to replace a missing product with 2 and second they even included a cute little story to explain the situation. It's a great mix of products and everything smells great to me! |

Just my personal taste. Everything included is kind of sickly sweet. I'm not digging it. I also got 2 bars of the snowcake soap because they were out of the Angel Delight soap that was supposed to be in there. That's to be expected around the holidays though, I suppose. As a soap maker myself I'm wondering if the snowcake is melt and pour. It just seems really soft for a hot or cold process soap. But then again, it's marketed as "homemade" so that would include melt and pour. I guess for my first experience with Lush I was expecting a bit more. <p> |
